America Movil was granted the B Band for US$ 22.22 MM and Nextel was granted the D and E Bands for US$ 27.0 MM.

This license was granted to Andinatel, and implied the introduction of the third mobile telephony operator in Ecuador.

The PCS license was granted to Megatel-EMCE Consortium, and implied the introduction of the second mobile telephony operator in Honduras.

The concession was granted to Stet Mobile Holding (Italia Telecom).
